New notification command extension

Extension description: This extensions add support for mentioning a user by starting to type a @ in the posting field.
Once you select a user from the dropdown, the 'mention' BBCode will be inserted and after submitting the post it will create a notification to that user.
Basically instead of quoting a large chunk of text to get someone's attention to get a reply, you can now just type the member you want to grab attention by by typing the @ and then the member name, you must select the name from the drop down box. Then the "mention" BBcode will automatically be inserted. If you messed it up like
@PhilC and
@rubber_jonnie did, you will just end up with plain text such as "@philC" which will not work. If you did it right, then the text will be in the mention brackets and be highlighted in red.

So to try it out, do you get one mention per post with an @Icky or is it one notification per @Icky ?
How many notifications do you think @Icky will get from this post exxos? You'll have to let us know how it works @Icky .
I wonder if this is starting to annoy @Icky yet?

So to confirm @PhilC and @exxos you get one notication from all the mentions in the post you make :)
And no I'm not annoyed I actually like this feature as it saves all the cut and pasting with quotes sometimes just to do a mention.

Well since it seems to have worked on my PC (I get the dropdown now when I type@ and a name) I'm putting it down to trying it on my phone earlier, where it clearly didn't work.
If it didn't work this time, I'm pretty sure you'll all let me know!

I am bumping this topic to remind people of the notification extension @NAME , Basically because I'm seeing people with single line replies, and 10-20 quoted reply lines.
It just makes things a little easier and neater to get peoples attnetion using the @ command rather than quoting 20+ lines which do nothing but causes huge pages of scrolling for people.

Have seen a lot of large quotes in posts recently so just reminding users of the mention feature.
Using @NAME will give a drop down to select that user and they will get a notification of the mention. It saves quoting and duplicating large blocks of text.
