STE CA4003290 1989 - black sockets

First time I have seen a STE with these black simm sockets. They are factory as solder is factory on them.

This is my CA4003290 it has the white ones, does the number "4489" mean it was manufactured in week 44 1989? If so then it is newer than the one you posted.

Also i noticed resistor "R106" seems to be of a different value than on your MB?

It's to the right of the lower chip with those metal clips on it (U101).

4.7k according to the schematic. What value is yours as hard to make out from your image.

The image was much higher resolution when i uploaded it :) i am at work now so i check when i get home... i do remember 2 red bands though.

ah yeah 1.2K matches the others which were changed to 1.2K on P100 then.

BTW - for high rest images, its best to zip the image and attach here. We limited the resolution to 1600x 800 as people were uploading 50+MB jpegs constantly and we would have run out of disk space very fast leaving it like that :)

Though maybe these days I can get A.I. to write a extension for this very problem.. argh, already have 12 extensions doing stuff already ! :lol:
