Yes our community has toxic people which is really sad, im really angry at the guy that copied all your plans and made boards for himself to sell at amibay to make a quick buck. But please know that 99,9 % of us is behind you and really like and respect and see all the hard work you put into all of these projects you have done for our Amiga community.

Its not for me too say but i'll hope you reconsider your decision to stop all work on the Amiga Terriblefire cards and think of us that like and support you all the way.

I wish you all the best, whatever you decide and i'll hope you livestream again in the future.

As for the guy that is famous now in a bad way, if i were you i would write a big apalogy to Stephen and pay back all the money you have made for selling these counterfeit cards, if its not allready too late and you will get sued for copyright infringement.

From a business standpoint, I would still go with paid updateble firmware + support, everyone learned that paid services is the way to get around knockoffs. i.e. makes it hard enough for knockoffs them to keep updating/hacking the exe to support their boards every time an FW update is released.

Sorry to hear that @terriblefire . I was following you on YT with the hope that one day I will put yours TF1260 with Chucky's ReAminga into Checkmate 1500 case but oh well... But hope dies last ;)

I agree it's wrong to blame Polish people in general - there are always reasons why there are more clones from one region or another at different points in history. Sometimes its ecomonic problems (or currency differences) between regions, and it depends on many different factors. The reality here is someone has cloned the product, when all they needed to do was follow the GPL. ie. There's no reason why they couldn't make the same kinds of profit they were aiming for with the clone, it's not like the PCBs are over expensive. I've bought plenty of products from wonderful Polish engineers - people who are creative and respect other peoples work.

Honestly dont care if someone clones / modifies it for their own enjoyment.

But this guy has a scam going. And we're pretty sure he's found a way to "pop" gerbers from JLCPCB.

I can understand the reaction that you'd want to burn it all to the ground, but I don't think it's the right way. If you give up, they win. On the other hand a hobby is meant to be fun, and if it isn't fun anymore, well... As I said, I understand how you're feeling.

I'm happy that the gerbers for the TF536 will be available. I've been looking forward to it for a long time, but I've missed all opportunities of acquiring one. And now I almost missed out completely :D

It could be a security issue that JLCPCB stores all uploaded gerbers for reordering purposes. I've had a peek (or was it a poke?), but it seems they create a UUID for each gerber and uses that for the download, but it's possible that other methods exist for downloading the gerbers.
