Thanks, that's what I thought.

I know for sure that PPs IDE board for the Megabus has the decode.PaulJ wrote: 21 May 2020 00:29Yes, anything that runs in the $e00000 area needs the enhanced decode that you can get from Exxos's IDE boards, decoder board, the Lightning ST, or possibly PP's IDE board. Sure there are other sources including roll your own... Also the $fc0000 decode coming from the glue needs to be combines as Exxos does for his eprom on the H4.PhilC wrote: 20 May 2020 18:43 @PaulJ does sound interesting. Do you still need rom decoding for tos2.06?
Sounds fantastic, good job.PaulJ wrote: 02 Jun 2020 14:38 Good luck with the board @rubber_jonnie , remember pin 1 of the adaptor is 180 degrees out with the Emu27C400. I suspect the Mega adaptor will be here later this week. I believe I may add PP's IDE adaptor to the board so essentially I'll have the IDE interface, $e00000 decode with all in a smaller board foot print than IDE 1.1 not to mention slots for 8 TOS images. We will see. @cmorley I have to order the program adaptor to upgrade the boards but plan on upgrading. I'm also thinking of adding a ST app to change the TOS image being used. We shall see.
I don't understand this - do you mean update the firmware? If so you don't need any special hardware just the USB connection & a DFU utility for your platform of choice (I use the STM Cube Programmer which just works... it is Java based so PC & Mac I believe).PaulJ wrote: 02 Jun 2020 14:38 @cmorley I have to order the program adaptor to upgrade the boards but plan on upgrading.
Yes, I thought you said in a prior post to upgrade the firmware you need a STM Cube Programmer. If you don't need it then I'll have to give it go. Yes, the red wire is wire wrapped which currently gets the decode signal from the IDE 1.1. The Mega adaptor should be here later this week and I expect it to work since I also build a prototype for it . Next step will be to add the decoding on board and if I really get crazy add in the IDE interface from PP.cmorley wrote: 02 Jun 2020 16:36I don't understand this - do you mean update the firmware? P.S. nice work on the adapter very tidy. Is that red flylead wirewrapped? I can't quite tell from the photo.
Ahh... it is software not a piece of hardware.PaulJ wrote: 02 Jun 2020 18:05 Yes, I thought you said in a prior post to upgrade the firmware you need a STM Cube Programmer.
