Did you make backup the flash with the TL866 before writing? (In case the other programmer was misbehaving - since it wasn't erasing properly?)

Beeping seems like a step forward :p presumably it can only beep if it managed a lot of other stuff first.

Nope.. Because it verified exactly as the bootblock anyway, so I didn't see any need to back it up.

I suppose constant beeping is error for some idiot removed a lot of stuff from the motherboard :P

:thumbsup: was really just in case the positions/offsets of things turned out to be correct after all but that seems unlikely now, given the beeps!
Can't tell from the video but are the ICs still missing or did you put them back? Would be cool to see some POST output from the ISA bus next

The large IC is still missing, ordered from Poland so waiting for it to arrive.
I could plug a graphics card in, but I don't know if any work at this point.

Id try and et4000ax graphics card if you've got one @exxos as those are the default for EmuTos and others. Even if you get a synced output you know you're going the right way

Uwe said a S3 trio chipset will work.. I have one of those and 2 others of what I can find..
