many thanks for the help.
does the gray cable have to be connected to ACSI10 for ide to work?
No.

TT Ram works!!! Bombs fly when I activate blitter.
Are you running BLTFIX and the software in the package ? Has to be run in the correct order as well.

@exxos I thought we needed ACSI10 connected for the latest firmware? I have mine connected.

Nope. Don''t think so. Can't remember if the wire is needed for IDE or not. But I booted ultrasatan the other day without the wire.

so I got the IDE to work in a roundabout way or by accident.
I ordered HDDriver, only had a CF card on the IDE, it was only recognized indirectly, created a partition after a restart and was not visible.
Only when I had connected the Ultrasatan could I partition the CF card and boot from it.
Even if the Ultrasatan is not active, but as soon as you change anything on the partitions, everything on the CF card is junk again.
Can it be that my TK is not that fast?

TK ?
IDE works fine for me on a H5 and STFM. So can't really suggest why its not working for you. Indeed ultrasatan and IDE are not really related. So I don't understand how having ultrasatan plugged it makes the IDE drive work.

hm why is the 68030 only clocked at 8MHz?
or is that a misrepresentation

Sysinfo doesn't get the right MHz so just ignore it.

what would ACSI10 be connected to, I would like to try it and see if there is an improvement in terms of the IDE.
that shouldn't be a secret

ACSI pin 10 hence its name.
DO NOT CONNECT THAT WIRE. It looks like later firmware I was using it as a debug output so you would likely kill something!
Really I do suggest you do what I said previously and either try a different machine like a STFM or swap all those IMP chips out.
But it is very odd you have problems with IDE *AND* ACSI devices. Are you sure your setting up HD11 properly ? I would just stick to one hard drive or not and not attempt to use both at the same time as you could be causing yourself unnecessary hassle at this point. But I honestly don't think MEGA machines are worth all the effort.

Whilst that’s true, the integer division figure does seem high. Is normally around 1.8s for a 50MHz 030, IIRC. Suggests it’s running about half speed.
EDIT: AltRAM speeds are down too.
