It's got to be 40+ years old, bought from Tandy in Liverpool in my younger days :)

It even has inductor codes on the other side.

I love stuff like this! :D

The late 70's early 80's were when Tandy was at its best. I've still got some old Radio Shack IC catalog from the mid eighties on the bookshelf:

Now they're just a glorified gadget shop. :(

Ahh, Archer, that brings back some fond memories! I see Tandy still sells components online in the UK and Radio Shack is as you say, a glorified gadget shop now.

It was great, I loved going to Tandy, and it was located practically opposite a Beatties model shop, which was bursting with Tamiya stuff, and in the same shopping centre as a Maplin. Beatties now sadly gone and Maplin online only, a sign of the times.

I used to spend hours going between the 3 shops!!

Heh. I remember going to Salisbury in my early teen years to buy one of the Tamiya R/C cars (IIRC Boomerang maybe?).

I know right!!

I can't believe how long I've had it for, and that it hasn't just disintegrated with age.

I'm sure it only cost me pence when I bought it, so the total cost of ownership has been exceptional!

Nice! @rubber_jonnie - now out of all those books on the shelves, which I seem to have a few copies of them, it was the LightWave 3D one that stood out the most :) I too have that one and had great fun with LightWave over the years.
