Didn't see smoke, but I smelt it, and the TV light started flashing.. oddly the TV was will displaying a white background.

Looks like the magic smoke escaped from some SMT stuff on the PSU..

Amazingly there are 50+ of these PSU's on evilbaby.. so got one with 24H postage...

@exxos I'll bet you could have that fixed before the day is out :)

Honestly can't be bothered, It is unlikely I have the SMT stuff anyway.. I brought this one off evil bay https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/233063219778 Hopefully get it in a couple of days I paid for 24H delivery.

Cant you make replacements out of old STs, duct tape and hot glue? Ok, so they may be a bit bigger, and you might need to have leads trailing to the ST/Tape/Hot glue mess, but it would get you going for the meantime :)
