Yeah that anyone wants it at 20% off "bare bones" with no FPU support.. I have enough projects without getting bogged down by silly things like this...If so, given how many boards you have, either stick it to one side for later investigation or mark it down for failing the FPU and list it as such?
Or even both. If someone buys it before you decide to look at it again, so be it.
If the bottom pins were bent enough to fail a reflow, perhaps something else is awry in that socket, but they're a PITA to get off and back on again.exxos wrote: 03 Oct 2025 13:58 I resoldered the pins and continuity check them several times.. Thank you very much for your further feedback. After internal verification, we have identified the causes of the issue as follows:
The incoming materials had slight deformation (warpage), which prevented the solder from making full contact with the material pins.
As we have changed to use the latest 3D AOI equipment, our staff are not proficient in operating the newly commissioned online 3D-AOI inspection equipment. During equipment commissioning, the height threshold for pin warpage was set too high. This resulted in the failure to detect cold-soldered warped pins that were below this threshold.
Going forward, we will strengthen the operational training for our staff on the updated equipment. Additionally, in accordance with the actual welding quality requirements of the products, we will reassess and optimize all detection parameters of the equipment, and establish more accurate inspection models.
For the 2 damaged boards, we will provide a $50 coupon to be used for the production of your next order.
If there are more defective boards found after full testing, please feel free to inform us at any time—we are willing to bear the losses arising therefrom. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused hereby.
