As @PhilC has mentioned, Ive been very absorbed with work at my new job. Ive barely been here on the forum for the last month or so.
Im hoping it may ease off a bit soon so I can get back to normality.
Even so, I still think its a bit up in the air regarding pertinent dates/days, with none of the options presented in the poll really catching the majority of peoples availability in any single option.
There are also other issues too, which Ive had to consider.
I was actually thinking about what Exxos said. I know its not a particularly great time for many of us. Im certainly snowed under with work here.
Maybe we let it go this year and make it much better next year, when a few of us have some energy/time to make it great?
Or do we plough on and do it regardless?
These are the questions that need answering really. :|

I'd like to come, but I completely understand that peoples lives are generally the driving factor, and if you've just started a new job, then that is the priority. For me, if it needs to be put off until next year, then that's what you need to do, after all it's something that's supposed to be enjoyable, and if it becomes a chore then stepping away is the right thing to do.

It might be advantageous to try a reverse poll for dates? Ask which dates people absolutely can't make? Go with the one where most people can make it rather than the one they would most like?
Just an idea. One that we used for the work summer party and the date chosen meant lots more people attended vs the most popular date.

So, Im still really struggling for time guys. :( Also, bear in mind its now just me taking this on.
However, I will endeavour to get this running!
With that said, Im going to get back in touch with the venue and try for:
Sunday 29th September 11am-5pm (10am-6pm exhibitors)
...as this seems like the most 'compatible' day.
If anyone has a major problem, (or it has become unavailable), we will go from there.
Standby for confirmation of the date/time, pending any of the above being a problem.

Do we know who is actually likely to go ? It all seems a bit up in the air at the moment and with not many people replying with opinions about holding off for next year either...
I cannot say for myself at the moment. I know the drive down last time hurt my hands a lot ,and I was pretty pi**ed off with sat-nav getting me lost multiple times, which did not help matters. The event itself was great, but it's all the "overhead" with it all which gets me :(

Nothings changed my end, if it's going ahead I'm still coming. But I think from what I'm reading here, it may be wise to delay this year's event. It won't be as fun without @PhilC and nobody wants an even more busy and stressed @mrbombermillzy, we want this to be something everyone is comfortable and able to attend in leisure surely ☺️
