Hmm, need to sort out a suitable cassette lead for this bad boy, just to check and see if it works for loading and saving.

Hmm, seems like it would be trivial to mod my Aquarius cassette lead to work with the Dragon, so i'll do that :)

Well, Aquarius cassette lead modded and it seems to work fine, so I'll test it later.

Well the Dragon tests just fine saving and loading to cassette, so next is to sort out my Aduitape so I can load some stuff in 😁

Annoyingly my Arduitape doesn't seem to play CAS files, I made a mistake I think, I should have bought a Maxduino, though I might be able to reflash mine.

That's a bit annoying. Can you convert .cas files into something it does understand?

Yes, I'm looking into converting the files or possibly seeing if MaxDuino will work on my hardware.

You might have all this info, but this is where I first saw the CASDunio for MSX:

http://arduitape.blogspot.com/2016/03/a ... m.html?m=1

I naively thought oh the the Dragon also uses .CAS files so I contacted the team. After some back and forward they tweeked the firmware and got Dragon .CAS files working on the same firmware as MSX :)

I don't have any Dragons now, and I am not sure if MiSTer Cores accept tape input. I was helping some American Roger test his CoCo/Real Dragon Core but that has gone quiet.

Dragon tape files were a right pain to get the right format to actually load. I still have the files on my SDcard for my CASDuino. I can send them to you if you want? You really want to be starting with tape images you know will load, and load quickly at that ;)

MiSTer doesn't do hardware media interfaces as the developer seems to have a religious hatred of the idea of adding them.
