Yes, whenever you can't find a hammer, use your Ridgid Stilsons, larger bang, the bigger the pair. This only needed a little tweak, so that 18s came out :lol:

I am a big fan of percussive maintenance, and that looks just the ticket.

When I was in the RAF, the preferred tool for percussive maintenance was a black and yellow safety torch, which became known later as the 'Black and yellow light emitting Bentley', the last part being the name of a particular tech who had a fondness for using it.

I have a black and yellow hammer, its not so good using it as a torch though.

How can you see what you're hitting then?

Looking at the content of the cassettes that came with the Electron it looks like it was used by an amateur radio enthusiast. We have programs about antennas etc.

Are these of use to anyone on the forum?

When I saw the post with the picture of the wrench on the Electron, I had the same sort of shock as when I first glanced at the picture of when @exxos set fire to his chair! :lol:

Sort of makes sense now, how it ended up in a Ham Radio shop purchase. :)

@mrbombermillzy and the couple of odd adaptor make sense too now.

I was going to do the ham exams, but life got in the way...

Not sure the wife would be cool with a ham radio collection as well as the computers and consoles...
