IIRC the green screen is a RAM issue, you probably want to drop a DiagROM in and see if it tells you anything.

Ok, thanks... will try to find a suitable EPROM...but I think I only have 27c256 & 27c4096 at the moment...

I'll have a look see if I have any, but I don't think I do. I used a Boo Bip 27C400 ROM Emulator as it can store multiple ROM images, however they aren't made anymore though this looks similar: Amiga ROM emulator

Yes, I missed out on those BooBip emulators...would have been handy for the BBC micros as well

I'll have a look at those as soon as I sort out some of my pension info...

My A500 has a boobip in it but it's a little irrelevant bar the DiagROM now I have PiStorm. I also have some Boo Bip BBC ROMs, they are great. I'll have a look in my drawer later to see if I have any 27C400's and I can drop one in with the RAM/IDE upgrade.

As I mentioned in my reply to your latest PM I have a 27C400 that's new and unused, but it will need an eraser if you want to use it for other things.

Yes, I do have a vintage UV eraser (back from the mid-80s when I was programming EPROMs for my original Beeb) so hopefully that will still work - and I have a few Hitachi 27C4096 EPROMs to erase too, so that would be good to sort out for both purposes!

Thanks again Jon!

No worries, I will get your stuff packed and arrange for the postie to collect. I'll let you know when that's done.
