Well; I don't have a Notator dongle. So I can only use a Notator version 3.0 of questionable (*cough* ;) ) origin. But in any case: I have a working hypothesis now, please see my reply on the mailing list.Cosmic Puppet wrote: 19 Oct 2021 12:21 Hi @JezC Yeah, he messaged in the development through asking Christian if he would like him to look at it.
Thanks, yeah just read it. Because I'm now using Unitor. I have a dongle for Notator 3.21, so if you did need it for testing purposes in the future I can lend it to you. I think Roger may have one from a previous issue last year which he fixed.czietz wrote: 19 Oct 2021 12:24Well; I don't have a Notator dongle. Thank you. Although, I'll leave that just now as I don't really know what I'm doing and might trigger another migraine. :lol:czietz wrote: 19 Oct 2021 12:30 PS: If you want to test my hypothesis, you can use @thorsten.otto's inofficial but excellent custom EmuTOS building service:
http://tho-otto.de/emutos/.
Select "Output: emutos.prg" at the top, leave all options as they are except for disabling "3D Objects" and click on "Create EmuTOS image". That gives you a customized EMUTOSUS.PRG, without AES 3D objects which I think are the issue here.
You can still try it, since you are using the prg version and don't have to burn eproms, that should be rather easy ;)Cosmic Puppet wrote: 19 Oct 2021 12:40 Although, I'll leave that just now as I don't really know what I'm doing and might trigger another migraine.
Worryingly, I think I understand both of the above comments   :hide:Cosmic Puppet wrote: 19 Oct 2021 13:57 That's like me saying "Play a Dm7(b5 b9) chord" to someone who hasn't studied music.
