No this will be a clock phase issue.. 99% likely. Just not in a position to test on the A2000 right now.

You will need to rebuild your board, then your amiga, followed by your entire house! :o) Very probably a firmware change can fix it!

The phase on the r1 A2000 version was 5.

I only had a few minutes to test before I have to pick up my kids...
Flashed using tf536r2_main_top_AMIGA_FULL_PHASE_5.jed
No change. Same purple screen in DiagROM on boot.

Works on the A500. The only difference that I can see is that the ESM no longer reboots the machine upon a keypress. The rest seems pretty much the same.

Ok try a scope probe or finger on the motherboard DTACK pin.
