@exxos Much the same as I have, and both work in my A1200, but not with my cable, I think if I put a scope or meter on the power pins there will be something different with power where it works and where it doesn't.

looks like @PaulJ had one working...
His is 40 pin to 40 pin by the looks of things, with separate power. I have a similar CF adapter that works just fine, but it's the 44 pin deelys I want to fix, they're much more compact and neat.

They are cheap devices, just seems weird they work in one scenario and not the other.

Several of us purchased hddriver when we were testing @exxos 's IDE board. So there's a paid update hddriver 11.0 that I just picked up. We'll see if I can notice any changes.

On STs with Blitter (MegaST or upgraded STF) IDE is about 20% faster with HDDRIVER 11.
