:thanksblue:
Here you go: Purple Pi

They are super cheap.

Thanks @rubber_jonnie I'll check those out later ( my daughter has some friends round for an 18th birthday celebration so won't be until much later tonight)

You're welcome.

Be aware they don't have the same pinout as a normal RPi.

Good to know - but at that price even creating your own PCB to use the, will still be likely to save money over the standard parts...

I'll check for any difference on the pins I need for my project.

Thanks again @rubber_jonnie

Good luck, be interested to see what you come up with.

Well, I had a huge tidy up in my office/workshop today, and once done I decided it was time to recap the Intellivision.

It was only 4 10uF caps (There is a 5th, one bi-polar cap but I didn't have any BPs handy and it was well away from the video circuitry) and it didn't take long, especially as the Intellivision so so easy to tear down and work on.

The menu is clear and colourful:

And games are also so much better:

So no more flickering, flipping into monochrome of having weird and wonderful colours, just normality. Less than 30 minutes to do the whole job :)

Caps of course replaced with better rated ones than original.

OK, so I've built a couple more of each cart:

I'll get them tested and will sell them, will post more on intended price once they are all tested OK.

OK, so I have tested the carts and all work just fine.

They are for sale at £15 each which is including postage. Afraid these are for sale in the UK only and are bare carts as I need to sort out my 3d printer and it's low on the list of things to do.
