There's a slim chance that we might have a Swedish exchange student staying with us at the end of September so the 8th might be a safer bet for me...

I think I might get a better response if I focus on an actual date, rather than ask what people want.

So, going by both @JezC and @PhilC , how does Sunday the 8th of September sound to everyone?

I hate all days equally... So makes no odds to me.

I usually have a karate weekend on the first weekend in September so I'm not sure the 8th would work since it's a bit unfair of me to be away 2 weekends in a row, so for me that's not the best weekend.

However the karate dates haven't been confirmed yet so I may be able to come.

Is the location confirmed yet as that will also be a factor for me.

Hmm...we need some sort of algorithm to work this out.

As you can see, I dont think we will be able to get it right for everyone. However, I will try...

@rubber_jonnie is there any way you can confirm the date for your karate weekend and will it be possible to work around?

@JezC how 'slim' is this chance and will it be possible to work around?

Well, I don't want to cause problems so if the later date suits everyone then go for that. I can see if our exchange student would want to attend this as part of the "entertainment" we provide or do something less retro (but possibly without me).

I think the timeline for actually knowing for sure could be too late to avoid complications with booking the venue!

TL;DR - go for the weekend at the end of the month & I'll attend if I can!
