I was going to go Dremel, but in the end I used my hand file for a bit more control. Luckily it was the corner pin, which made it a whole lot easier.

The material they use for the chip body is really surprisingly tough.

I've been running a demo simply called 'The 1K party demo' and it seems that it is pretty good at highlighting the GTIA issue.

This is with the faulty GTIA:

Seems to be a pretty good dynamic way of testing it.

Imagine what I was thinking looking at some demos not knowing yet it is broken :)
I was sure the graphics was much better than what I was experiencing...
