"Radeon" is just a marketing name and encompasses very many radically different chip sets.

First of all, you'd have to find a PCI Radeon board, which would be from the noughties, before the change to PCIe, and after the transition from AGP. So, you're probably looking at 2000 - 2005. The 7000, 8000, 9000 series are probably your target.

Yes, and they have to be 3.3V and, I think, with a maximum of 128 MB RAM according to R. Czuba's old web site...

Not sure the 8000 series are a go for the CTPCI.

So it almost works!

It detects the card and runs the bios etc:


Then it displays the boot screen on the Radeon and starts to boot:

Edit: Seems like it's just incompatible with NVDI. So I need to remove NVDI from the Auto folder. Wow, this thing is fast in gembench!

There is also a 2nd problem, I get a parity error depending on how I position the card, so perhaps there is a bad connection somewhere.
