I honestly can't see any previous markings either, but it just seemed to come off way too easily with the acetone. I've never had a genuine non-resurfaced CPU have the markings come away that easily before. Maybe just my lack of experience with the ceramic 68030's? If there was no scratches and previous markings I think it's ok that the print comes off with acetone. If you look at the fake for instance in the next post the print has been chemically removed. Perhaps it's just that there is no closeup so I can't see previous markings on the cpu though :D
