The idea is to make the PCB smaller by compressing the routing a bit, such that it would fit the "Denise" motherboard (https://www.enterlogic.se/?page_id=180).
Right now it's sitting over the Zorro slot, which makes that slot unusable.
Additionally, I believe it would be beneficial to fit in the 100x100mm size of the cheap JLCPCB option. It's "just" outside of that now, by a few mm, which is unfortunate.

Apart from the routing changes and the board size, your design (and copyright) would be 100% kept as-is. I don't need any credit for those minimal changes, but right now I can't make them. (Because of the No Derivatives license)

It cannot be compressed much without compromising the signal integrity to the point where it will not work. Its really on the limit for 50Mhz as is. Trust me if i could get it into 100mm X 100mm and still work i would have done it. I chose 7mil spacing for a reason. The low speed signal stuff could be compressed a fraction but the routing is not tight there.

I completely agree about taking care about signal integrity. Especially at 50 MHz!
However, we're talking about 4.14 mm in the x-direction here, which I believe is easily achievable. (y-direction is only 0.56 mm over the 100 mm limit)

IC7 and IC8 could be closer to one another by 1.5mm without any issues.
There's another 1.5mm between IC7 and all the bus traces.
On the outer side of the 68k socket toward the amiga, there's also a single lost trace, that could be moved inside of the footprint. There's another 1 or 1.5mm to win there.

Those changes alone would make it fit inside 100x100, and would solve the Zorro header clearance on the left side of the 68k socket.

I'm not touching IC7 and IC8. I did that on the TF4060 and i have had a world of pain. those traces need to be those lengths.

anyone know where I can find the sources for the TF534 mentioned in the first post? The repository seems to have been deleted - anyone has a copy or fork of the most recent sources?

i'd strongly recommend you don't build a 534. no support

Thank you very much. I know that this card is long out of support, but it's the only one that fits inside the case of my Minimig 1.8 and has a FPU (which I don't need but want :lol:). Other, more recent cards (with a FPU) like the Matze 030 don't fit because their PCB is simply too big.

I would really really recommend the 536 instead.At this stage i'd run a life support off it.
