I have the V.H2 version of the adaptor and in sysinfo, on my first 100MB partition I get a really slow 700kb/sec. EDIT: this is _with_ mufastrom/mmulib

So with the IDE2SD adaptor (specifically this) and a 4GB SD card, I get a consistent 2.1MB/sec with both partitions without fastrom. With fastrom, ~5MB/sec (and no dodgy overflows in sysinfo).

So something funky with either the V.H2 adaptor or my all of my CF cards.

I have two configurations, one with ide2sd and the other with the CF adapter you’re referring to. I didn’t realize it but I can confirm they behave just as you’ve discovered.

Both, or V.H2 only???

Ok,
Tried with SD to IDE adapter - muFASTROM works now, however it shows lower speed for first partition..
