I will get one soon enough, the main problem I have is donor machines! Due to lockdown my latest one is stuck up at my parents :(
And oops, I bought one of these too:
https://bennvenn.myshopify.com/collecti ... order-rev5
It is Atari though at least :)
I do have a 2nd H4 to build, but I was waiting for my HDMI adapter to arrive, and now I have it I will make a start, but first off I just want to get some of the many small jobs I have out of the way.
I need to have a check through my parts drawer and make sure I have all the stuff on the BoM though. H5 5 will likely be ordered at the end of November when I get paid, and I also have an outstanding order with Olivier Gossuin for the external ST test harnesses that go with the diag cart, which should be good :)
Don't worry, I'm still here but nice that I get remembered once in a while :)

@Icky
Does this count as blatant product placement?

Do you think I should make it look less posed?

Oh no some other merchandise has escaped :)
Well placed @rubber_jonnie and nice depth of field :).
I think there has been some other types of escapage somewhere.

I must confess, the depth of field was particularly pleasing considering it was my phone :)
Once I have my mug (Long story, my boss still has it!), I'll try to get some more blatant product placement :)

Bit of a busy weekend, but managed to get a few things done.
Finally got the inverters to finish my H4 DMA Buffer Fix boards:
H4_Buffer_fix.jpg
On the left you can see my handmade original. It got me going but time for it to be retired, and now I have one ready made for H4 number 2. Better get an H5 on order as soon as payday arrives!!
Next up, I got a 2nd Greaseweazle. The one I bought as a kit isn't working so I bought a 2nd ready built, and at least I can compare the two with a scope and see what's missing and maybe actually fix it!
This is my first go at reading a disk:
Greaseweazel.jpg
Just a simple disk formatted in the ST and with some files dropped on it.
Next I think I need to try reading some PC disks I have, and maybe even try to write some STX disk images back to floppy. It's a pretty cool project, and I may also try and see if I can hook it up to my Atari 1050 drive, see if it plays nicely.

Getting a bit concerned, the vLA81 I ordered on the 19th October is still not here, and neither is the POKEYMax I ordered on the 24th October. The vLA81 last shows it in transit with the airline on 1st November :(
To be fair, the guy I ordered the POKEYMax from has offered a replacement, and has also offered to send it tracked next time, and the vLA guy is going to follow up with the carrier, but I've decided to give them another week to come on account of the covid situation.
I'm just hoping the Lynx screen I ordered on the 3rd November doesn't get lost too as that's coming from Australia. The vLA was from NZ and the POKEYMax was fro Poland,
Anybody else having these problems at all for orders from faraway places?

I don't know about NZ and Australia but I have seen various reports of Poland being a postal black hole since the beginning of the year.

Its coming good down here. Melbourne can vary between a few days or a few weeks. NZ just add four weeks to be safe..... It isn't really a black hole, more of a giant capacitor.

I did have an order with Lotharek which came from Poland no problem, unfortunately the POKEYMax was not sent tracked by the sender. I guess we'll see what happens over the next few days.
