Another annoyance with Eagle here.. I routed the 68K sockets manually, and yet you can see the auto router has also routed them in red (top layer).. I mean granted I have the routed layer turned off, but seesh, Eagle doesn't even "see" routed parts on the layer.. Its acting like the layer doesn't exist, not simply turning if off to stop the autorouter using it

New low profile RTC PCBs and headers came today.. I forgot to pickup a low profile socket today
But the header pins assuming fit fully into the socket, leaves about 4mm height.. The socket plastic is about 3mm, so assuming 1mm stand off from the pcb.. basically means this new module should fit into a low profile socket and be exactly the same height as the original RTC :)

From the image, it looks like the socket fits flush, so technically there should be 1mm clearance (or 1mm smaller than the original)

Small round-up..
All the 4MB RAM boards are done and now in stock (38 or so). Hopefully I won't have to build anymore up.
"exxos psu" are running low on stock, I am working on a new batch but still waiting for the transformers to come.
The H2 I am still fighting with the auto router  It routes pretty quick, but then takes all bloody day to run though the optimising bits. So pretty much hits 1 route try each day  I'm still having issues as I can't turn off layers as it routes stuff I already routed.. so I have put "99" in the layer costs I don't want it to use.. Yesterdays attempt it managed to trash the gnd plane

Exxos and I did a little test Windows Eagle v7 (can't remember the exact version you are running Exxos) on and 8 core CPU vs Mac Eagle 9.4.2 on a 6 Core CPU.
The Mac version completed routing at 99% in around 10 minutes. However it did crash twice during that run.

It did finish routing last night about midnight, but its still taken some chunks out of the gnd layer :(

I tried V9 and it crashed twice.. Will try it again now.... I mean it taking all day to route a board is a joke.. it seems V9 is faster by what you say Icky, so will see what happens with the same routing rules as I used in V7..
