What's the pinout of the firmware programming header? I figured it out the last time, but of course I deleted the photo I took of the wiring.

Just a thought.. would STOS read the _MCH cookie? HD driver (from v12 at least) sets the IDE flag (low word in _MCH) which causes some progs not to recognise an STe.
 I would assume not...chronicthehedgehog wrote: 09 May 2025 22:26 Just a thought.. would STOS read the _MCH cookie? HD driver (from v12 at least) sets the IDE flag (low word in _MCH) which causes some progs not to recognise an STe.

Yeah probably not. I created this little prog to unset it as I've run into it a few times. Might be worth a try perhaps.chronicthehedgehog wrote: 09 May 2025 22:26 Just a thought.. would STOS read the _MCH cookie? Thanks. Didn't seem to help.chronicthehedgehog wrote: 09 May 2025 22:39 Yeah probably not. I created this little prog to unset it as I've run into it a few times. Might be worth a try perhaps.
Sorry, I've not replaced my CPLD yet so can't do much testing, but this feels awfully similar to the autoboot interrupt emulation problems I had back on the first board.
I'll disable that next see if it changes anything...Badwolf wrote: 10 May 2025 00:33 , but this feels awfully similar to the autoboot interrupt emulation problems I had back on the first board.
