Mine too, tested on the bench with the lid off and all fine, went wonky once I'd put in the case screws.
Seems to be fine now though thanks god, next job is to inject audio into the HDMI since RGB2HDMI doesn't seem to do that.

So you're effectively using it in reverse? It seems to be an extractor rather than an embedder?
EDIT - oh, wait there are items that look the same but go the other way, need to tread carefully.

Yeah, the whole bundle thing was driving me mad, I didn't have other stuff I wanted as I'd recently put an order in. I'm sure I can swallow the £7...
