Yeah, I've followed your (and @derkom's work and they really are fantastic pieces of work! I admire your persistence.Darklord wrote: 24 Oct 2026 00:37 I did replace the original screen (have to, the original is mono/hi-res only) with an LCD panel.
Aha! So this sync issue is basically a "hit or miss" type of thing: if you're unlucky you miss the sync and get the flashing, if you're lucky you hit (or get close) to the sync and you get no or little flashing?Oh, sorry - I mean I completely power the entire STacy off/on when I'm impatient and don't
want to wait for the blinking to stop.
Is it normal for all ST computers (or all vintage computers for that matter) connected to an RGBtoHDMI?When I asked, I was told the blinking was normal and just the mod and the system all syncing
up. I assumed that it did the same thing on other users setups because of that answer.
Too true unfortunately.Oh absolutely - the buffered pick up board leaves only the 3 wires marked in the photo that
you have to solder. The STe version looks so much harder!
Thanks. I've read through parts of it before, but with 27 pages there's a lot to go through! Amazing work!!Darklord wrote: 24 Oct 2026 00:43 I know it's probably been mentioned in this thread already but I have to point
out Derkom's message thread which covers a lot of RGB2HDMI stuff.
He led the way with a bunch of concepts and ideas that I used in my STacy.
So, just giving credit where credit is due. :)
