I'm usually a bit too impatient for that sort of neatness :)
This is probably my neatest job:

An upgrade to 64K of RAM for my TRS80 Model 1. I was forced to be patient as the instructions were not the best. The orange wire is not mine, but the green ones are :)

Not bad at all !
I've seen a lot of horrors on some PCBs...
I always take my time when upgrading or repairing a machine, and have a break when I'm really fed up.
If I don't and I'm too impatient, I'm sure I will break something.
And of course, a well deserved beer is always waiting for me in the fridge once the job's done.

Beer is always an excellent reward for a job well done :)
I must confess I do sometimes take long breaks from repairs etc as other stuff gets in the way. That's when I write a lot of stuff on here :)

I've practically destroyed an Amiga 500 RAM expansion board trying to desolder chips with corroded pins!
I'm continually in admiration of you chaps who can take of ten times as many old components and leave barely a mark. :)
