Strange. it *used* to work right? I think I saw you post on atari-forum about it. Might be something silly like driver installation or auto folder issues.

Yes it used to work, but the photos I posted of the machine running CAB, GemView, etc... are from about 10 years ago.

Unfortunately I lost the original Spektrum install disk, all I had was some snapshot of an earlier install on an old SD Card from when I used the Satandisk, which indeed may be broken, but it's hard to diagnose because this thing had quite many files (amcgdos, spekroot, spektrum, gemsys files, multiple desk accessories, etc...) and all in German as well, which does not help :)

The machine is back in one piece, with the fuse replaced and the "new" Nova VME card installed internally.
That's a tight fit, but that works :)
