Ahh, I'm with you now, my Chinon is quite tall compared to normal drives I have to say. I don't have an SF314 and didn't realise the cable differences.
Would a GoEX (Not Gotek) with a big button bezel not drop in physically?

I get the cable adaptor side.

You'd have to make stand-offs. At that point you may as well design a new frame.
