@Bikerbob as long as you have everything else right and the rom ce line jumpered to right hand pin J13?
It is much more predictable to try and diagnose with a tos1.04 rom in the board thought as you're then only focusing on internal, not external equipment.
Yeah I will not do this till after it has been determined to work..
So.. I have a question.
after more reading.. it seems the cloudy needs to be used with the lightning or the storm.
Can my decoder and dual tos chip be used with any other board?? or its for the H5?

Sorry.. one more question.
The sizing on the holes for the Floppy posts... were they made for a specific post?? not the original.. They seem very small.
I cannot get any post I have to fit in the holes?

I'd had the same problem on the H4 as well as the H5 but assumed there were different sizes of the posts & I was just 'unlucky' to have larger diameter posts...

Never gave it much thought .. Not sure if anyone actually tried the posts... What do they all measure compared to a original board ?

The H5 holes are 6mm and the original on the three plastic post holes are 6.5mm.
The brass peg post fits perfectly but I sanded down the collar on the plastic ones for one build. You could use these

Finally I have gone down the route of these plastic M3 posts which you can build up nicely to get the right height.

Not H5 intended, but I forgot all about that project. I will do a new STL when I get my printer fixed.

ok we are working... so far only 2 weird things..
1. I cannot get Desktop info on either TOS. 1.4 will reset and 2.06 will kill the keyboard mouse click, and I cannot open anything.
2. The floppy drive is continually polling?? aka something is always happening.. is that what this supposed to happen?? IT works.. just I can always hear a tick tick tick ... from the drive.

anyone have another suggestion?
I am using a 720k drive in the machine - even though I have the 1.44 gal. Can that cause the ticking?
I have not run a program yet.. or the diag cart.. I can .. not sure what to look for about the Desktop info not working.
