3 for the TF builder kings
7 for Scottish Amiga User Group lords
9 for exxos mortal forum members
And
1 for the Terriblefire Lord, the creater of the one true firmware.

Amazing! I can't get over how few components there are compared to cards available in the 1990s (at least what is visible on the top (?) side of the cards in the photos). Well done!

All the passives are on the bottom of the board for 2 reasons.

1. Every possible component i can get on the bottom I can get pre-assembled.
2. You can get the components closer to the power pins of the larger chips that way and improve the effectiveness of them.

It looks like there are no passives but there are about 90 on the board.

Quick update.. Working with a mysterious amiga driver developer I have updated the TF1260 firmware so that the IDE interface on it is working at PIO-4 timings. I dont *think* there is room to make these timings configurable but that will be possible on the TF4060 as there is much much much more space on that board. It should be possible to have a PIO-2 and PIO-4 mode though in the long term.

I don't know much about PIO-4 (so the other potential benefits) but the speed boost certainly looks very good.

Could a minimal boot disk to activate the TF1260 IDE be done off a floppy? Well more likely a USB .adf file in a Gotek :)

Yes but honestly.. burn 2 new 27C800s with a 3.1.4 rom and all missing libraries in an extended rom. Then you'll get autoboot.

I'm working on an initial PIO-2 mode that can be switched into PIO-4.
