Thanks, will have a look at it in a bit.

The replacement membrane arrived today so I fitted that. I also fitted a cable to make installing the memory upgrade more easily. Oh, you may have noticed the heatsinks in this photo. :-)

I buttoned the machine up, tested and all was fine.
Thence to some painting of the replacement joystick handle. I bought some Revell emerald green acrylic from Hobbycraft and gave the part two coats using a brush followed by a couple of coats of Plastikote satin varnish. Looks decent and works well. Then I found that the shape is wrong according to some photos, so I'm going to have to rejig it.

Other than that it's just been looking at the demo tape contents really.

Wondering if my clock issue is heat related? I'll give it a look when I next take it apart.
That enterprise is looking very nice now @stephen_usher

Some more progress on the Enterprise.
Having looked at photos I saw that my joystick handle wasn't the correct shape. It should be more like an inverted "modern" milk bottle rather than an inverted old milk bottle shape, so I designed, printed and painted a new one.

Whilst waiting for a package from "rabs" on the Retro Hardware Discord containing his RAM expansion and a PCB for a floppy interface I decided to design a ROM cartridge case. Amazingly there are no freely available STL files for a case but there are people selling them via eBay. Anyway, I gathered all the images I could find online, including a useful plan image of a PCB sitting inside an original case from which I could get good dimensions as I could use the edge connector spacing of 2.55mm as a reference. I had to guess the heights though and I didn't have a good image of the upper half.
This is what I've come up with. It still needs a little tweeking but once that's done I'll publish it on Thingiverse for anyone to use.

Yesterday afternoon the "care package" arrived and in the evening I built and fitted the RAM expansion.

Seems to work. :-)
As for the floppy interface PCB, I'll have to see what components I need. I know I'm going to have to hack the edge connector as the ones I have aren't wide enough. Still, that's doable.

@stephen_usher Nicely done. I'm probably going to spin my own ram PCB as I've got just about every ram chip but that one
