I think it would be better if you opened up your own topic in hardware issues as this problem appears to be problems with your Falcon and not with the booster :)

The jumper between 20-22 on the expansion port is needed if there is not a card there. Could it be that simple?

I know that the jumper must be put on when there is no card. It must be something else on the board and the diagram is not interactive, I only have scans.
I changed the ROM on the board to a different chip that works in a different board and behaves the same. When I have DFB1 inserted, it works TOS4.04 from the motherboard and EmuTOS which I have programmed in DFB1. Putting the "Disable" jumper on the DFB1 card and turning on the Falcon causes the mosaic stripes to appear again on the screen. I'm curious what part of the functions from the motherboard is taken over by DFB1 (except the CPU) because I did tests and it seems that when DFB1 is active, everything I was able to test works perfectly?

That's what I thought too, but I can't move it to another thread now.
But the interesting thing about DFB1 is that it can be used to "repair" a damaged Falcon board :-)
Edit 2
For information. I found the CPU changed and we have a newly revived Falcon among us. :-) Just cosmetic fixes and it will be like new :-).
P.S. sorry for offtopic....
