3.1 - All works as expected. I can boot to workbench without any issues.
3.0 - Starts booting all right but stops after half a minute, floppy ticking all right all the time. I suspect OS image issues. I will build image with manual memory config to rule this out. (Who uses 3.0 anyway? )

Kickstart 3.0
I quickly reused my old test bare image, I have copied addmem to drive and added
Code: Select all
RUN <NIL: >NIL: ADDMEM 08000000 TO 0bffffff
to startup sequence and now everything boots all right to workbench, and so far it is stable (I literally don't have anything there to test it against, but I first quick check all seems to be ok.
I will try to poke my setup a little bit more tomorrow.

Burst mode is back... Secondary ATA is back (but not fast fast yet).
Gonna call this one beta1 ...

I can't see even kick screen with this firmware, either on 3.0 (MX) or 3.1 kick

Ok, IDE on previous FW is broken, none of my CFs boots,
however Floppy Drive works, can boot from it to WB, once it is booted works fine, correct amount of memory was detected on both cards (64 & 128MB)
EDIT:
Will test BETA1 FW soon

I just checked two firmware
1D4 board kick 3.1
First from today boot to kickstart and read from gotek but still not from HD
Second firmware give me black screen even not boot to kickstart

Just tried the new firmware "tf1230r1_2021_09_12_BETA1" on both a 2B and 1D4 motherboards, did not work on either board.
Booted with DiagROM on both boards with memory size issues, I am using MT48LC16M16A... memory chips so only 64MB on the 1230.
Same DiagROM results for both boards as follows:
Initial DiagROM boot does not show any FastMem

Run the complete memory detection shows up as 256MB :o

Reverted back to the 21 Aug firmware and tested the 1D4 board and it worked fine with some burnt EPROM ROMS, but failed with the original MX ROMS.

The ram is now mirrored to let up to 128Mb work. The OS detects the mirror and stops and it also prevents it detecting chipram as an extra 2Mb.

Todays tweaks. I noticed there was a RAM 64 vs 128Mb issue.
This works in all setups i have. All combos of Rev 1, 2, 64mb, 128mb and mask vs eproms.
I'm getting this performance wise
