Sweet! Where does the Human Touch plug into? The Unitor's "Multi-port?"

Hi. Human Touch plugs into the Muli-Port which is located to the side of UNITOR.

UNITOR N has an inbuilt Notator dongle.
UNITOR C has an inbuilt Creator dongle.

UNITOR 2 has a slot on the front where you insert a dongle, which could be Cubase, Notator etc, since UNITOR 2 has no inbuilt copy protection.

Also, printing Notation is possible using the Epson FX85 (NL10) driver (which works best for me using the Star LC-10 Colour) and the Atari Matrix Printer 804 Normal Screen Size Driver.

A lot the drivers (including the LC-10 driver) create horizontal gaps that look awful.

I vaguely recalled reading one night that one mustn't insert a dongle into the Unitor, and now I see that the article must have been describing the Unitor N and C models.
When I got me a Unitor 2, out of an abundance of caution, I was terrified to use my cherished dongle with it.
Thanks for the information, now I may proceed in confidence.

This is the warning from notator.org:

"You will need an original Notator SL dongle to use the program. This version will also work with the Log-3 hardware which comes as part of the Notator Logic package.
In this case you should NOT use the Notator SL dongle since the copy protection hardware is handled by Log-3 for both Notator SL and Notator Logic.
Having both in use at the same time can permanently damage the computer hardware!"

So yeah , don't use UNITOR 2 with LOG-3

I think it's more a case of don't use the Notator dongle as well as Log 3 - Logic supports Unitor 2 as well as Log 3 (and Export) & that's part of my main setup.

IIRC for the Falcon & TT you've got to use Unitor 2 rather than the original Unitor anyway (but that stems from memories of when I bought my Falcon back in the early 90s, so no idea where that might be documented).

Thanks @JezC Was blighted by faceache when I typed that. Just didn't want @PeckPeekPoke to break anything.
