Finally my old Maplin Soldering Iron station has given up. Not mine in the picture :)

Thought it was time to upgrade to a Weller

My own Maplin Iron (Not as fancy as yours) is now on duty in France after an iron replacement when the plastics failed.
Surely fixing your old one would be a good little project :)

I do intend to fix it so I can use else where from my main station location, however time is the issue.
