Thanks. Yes the screen flash is the behaviour I am seeing and not an artifact of the video

I’ll try on another monitor tonight and also on hi-res to see if the flash is present there.

What happens if you try to format a floppy, double/single sided ?

Odd thing is, 74LS06 is a open collector buffer, but there are no pullups on its output (checked ST and MEGA ST diagrams) So assume they are done on the floppy drive :shrug:

I am soaking in every post about the remake, and I am HUGELY impressed. We have a working ST that was NOT manufactured by Atari, this is AWESOME!
