Thanks Stephen, it at least gives me a starting point. TBH I don't need anything that adds RAM as I already have 64K onboard.

The order is in for the FreHD PCBs from JLPCB.

I have to say their gerber interpeter seems a lot better than the one for PCBWay, no daft questions it just gets it right first time, like with the v2 Analog.

Also, it was £1.60 for 5 boards, which is a bargain, so in total the price of £26.34 was almost entirely shipping and customs.

Now, to find a Quinterface or equivalent.

Looks like the M1 interface will be more appropriate for my needs, given the already expanded memory on my Model 1.

More research to do.

So I have the schematics for the M1 interface, but I'm now wondering if I can actually connect it to the TRS-80 directly, or if I must have an expansion box...

I may just use this as a project to get me started in KiCad as it's pretty simple and would be a good place to start, and in the meantime I'll email the guy who sells FreHD, the M1 and the Quinnterface for some advice.

Wowsers, the FreHD PCBs I ordered yesterday are made and awaiting pickup. That's pretty cool.

Surely 24 hours is normal turn-around?

Build time was quoted as 2-3 days.

I was quoted 3-4 days for the v2 Analog boards and that was about how long they took.
