So looks like the keyboard fix pull-up has actually fixed the sound.

Also in doing the diagnostic cart the DMA Port Test comes back with:

Code: Select all

DMA Port Test

D0 DMA time-out
Fail at cycle:000001

I think you need a special cable for DMA test...

Best thing is to put a blank floppy in the drive and try the floppy tests (it formats a floppy somewhere)

Well many of those tests require a test harness connected to the ports that route signals back.

DONE - And we have keyboard and mouse. Video shows changing to medium res but the floppy is not accessing the drive correctly

Exxos - I doff my cap to you for all your hard work

Yay!

Might be worth unsoldering the resistor pack next to the 1772 ( should be 10k).. And see if that helps.

Also swap the tos jumper as looks like your running 102 there..

Jumper swapped and working with other TOS

Pulled out resistor pack as I SILed them. Still no joy. Its accessing the drive but not seeing it properly.

:o Unbelievable. Hats off guys, you made it working in like what, two weeks? Amazing.

I guess the video also shows the screen flashing? Or is it just an artefact by recording?
