sorry guys I forgot to set the icons as` PROJECT ` (iconX) in the default tool so they wont work, I will fix this later and reupload the zip

reuploaded below :)

I remember in your test HD you sent you had these snazzy icons. I'll download the set. I take these work by having an icon read a little script to set the speed? I'm asking this as I complete novice btw. Just curious as I have managed to get a couple of my own icons working for things in the past and just wondered if it was the same method used for yours.

The 125mhz speed, I thought the firmware was capped at 100mhz no?

Yeah just a simple executable script nothing more, ,if you try 125 mhz and it works then you had better encase it in ice lol

Instant crash with 125mhz mate! I tried a few times.

I still get random behaviour with speeds and the newer CPUSPEED command. It's like I have to mess around a bit before I get it too 100mhz now. Sometimes it works off the bat other time it doesn't. Crashes at certain speeds to. Crashed at 80mhz last night (i was going through your icon selection you see) but it liked 85mhz for some reason. Think it didn't like 75mhz also. Very weird.

I tend to keep it at 50mhz but then if playing DukeNukem3d or Genetic Species I'll bump it to 100mhz if I can get it that day.

Absolute no chance of 125mhz working.

I updated my TF1260 with the new firmware alpha and now I have better chipram-performance, but it needs to be improved from 67 Mhz and greater.

50 Mhz bustest chip:
chip writel 577.0 ns 6.9*10^6 byte/s
chip writem 577.7 ns 6.9*10^6 byte/s

67 Mhz bustest chip:
chip writel 903.3 ns 4.4*10^6 byte/s
chip writem 901.7 ns 4.4*10^6 byte/s

84 Mhz bustest chip:
chip writel 826.6 ns 4.8*10^6 byte/s
chip writem 827.7 ns 4.8*10^6 byte/s

94 Mhz bustest chip:
chip writel 664.9 ns 6.0*10^6 byte/s
chip writem 664.6 ns 6.0*10^6 byte/s

100 Mhz bustest chip:
chip writel 888.2 ns 4.5*10^6 byte/s
chip writem 883.0 ns 4.5*10^6 byte/s

I get different numbers. As the buyers guide says your mileage will vary after 50Mhz. I'm not in a rush to "fix" this... if its even possible. Its probably possible to tune one frequency really well... but allowing for a 100% frequency range opens things up to these issues.

For what I've seen the results from "bustest chip" vary based on screen resolution, colors used on screen and overscan setting.

Is the firmware in the first post, from 2021, the newest firmware available?
