You have to remember that GP practises are actually private companies and only contracted by the NHS. This is why there's a lack of consistancy.

True, and shouldn't be the case IMHO, but what can you do?

Not a lot. *sigh* Anyway...

Have you managed to hook the beeb up to a display to see if it gets any further?

Wasn't feeling great last night so didn't do it, but have another one arriving today, so will hopefully get that hooked up later and then I'll hopefully have a reference to work from, and will also check the dead one.

Though I would say I'm still feeling crappy so it could all go south again.

It's taking a long while to get over it this time.

It took me about a week, but after the first jab I was bedridden for a whole day the day after the jab. This time it just comes and goes, most of which is fine, it's the nausea that I have a problem with.

BTW, can I get a BooBip. The new machine rolled up just now and I seem to have got a nice one. It's in nice condition, makes a BooBip on boot, ctrl+break resets, so it looks like I have my reference machine :)

Sounds like a result! Just make sure not to break #3 while trying to find the fault with #2...

This will also raise the possibility of you looking at all the modern upgrades for the Beeb(s)...where will it end? :hide:

I already have one, a TurboSpi MMC adapter, so we'll see how that goes too.

I will do my level best not to break #3!!

I'm way out of touch with the latest offerings for the Beeb, so I might have to catch up on those (at the risk of then getting my original one recapped & back up to working status)...must resist the urge... :zombie:
