Didn't really work and I suffer sinusitis daily and find that citirazine works best for me, though I have to be careful when I take it as it can cause drowsiness. I'm trying to take it before bed and when I do I do sleep easier.
I have tried cetirizine and others, I don't think any of them help. Unfortunately a lot of pills contain lactose which I cannot have for long anyway
Our main issue is that where we live is still effectively a building site, and probably will be for another couple of years. Though the place they are building is quite a way from our house now, there is still a mass of dust in the air and that gives me a lot of trouble.
Yeah I had issues like that in my old job due to dust and fumes. But not as bad as it is now.
Flushing my nose out with Sterimar Breathe Easy (A saltwater solution) does help, and sometimes I use Beconase, which is Beclometasone Dipropionate, is also helpful.
Sinus-rinse I think does help a bit, but not much. I've tried Beconase spray (still got a new bottle in fact) but that seems to just make things worse.

I just looked on the rinse box and there is some other sprays I could try also.
EDIT:
just makes my saline rinse, so put 50% of that in a spray bottle with 50% of the oxy spray. See if I can make any progress like that. But I tried that before and just got nowhere.

I can almost not breathe again voice recognition is not picking up on my words at all now again :(

I think I read somewhere there is some sort of nose insert which can widen the inside of your nose to help you breathe better.. That may be something I could also try.

I suffer terribly from rhinitis/ blocked nose issues. Terrible snoring (just ask the missus).

I found a combination of Beconase (Beclometasone), Stermiar (salt water) and Otrivine (Xylometazoline Hydrochloride) worked wonders.

Xylometazoline Hydrochloride is the most effective on it's own (for me).

So is that something you can use long term then?

There is one thing for me that is also of note for my sinus issues, and that is having wax in my ears. I suffer mostly in my right hand sinus, and I also suffer from wax in my right hand ear, and having the wax cleared does help with my sinus issue.

Your mileage may vary though.

I have to say I've not read the instructions completely. I use it most nights. It is a bit expensive at Boots or wherever but online its available for 1/4 or less retail price

Otrivine Blocked Nose Relief 0.1% w/v Nasal Spray
contains the active ingredient xylometazoline
hydrochloride which helps to open up and clear the
nasal passages by reducing the excessive nasal
secretions and returning the swollen blood vessels
to their normal size.
Do not take decongestants for more than 7 days
in a row. Prolonged or excessive use may cause
stuffiness to return or worsen.
So your actually using the same stuff as me then anyway..

I was considering buying a Humidifier for my bedroom with some sort of menthol liquid.

If that doesn't work maybe a CPAP?

I don't sleep very well and I am sure that congestion is the cause. Explains why I'm so grumpy and irritable... but that might just be my personality.

Thats the problem I have, I was waking up after being asleep for as little as 1 to 2 hours basically choking. I would never get back to sleep again afterwards.

Same here

My humidifier ran out of water so I topped it up. Seems have to do this about once a week. It seems to be coughing and spluttering a lot for some reason you decided to give it a proper cleanout.. And my word what a load of gunk collecting thing after just a week! Likely all the impurities which are in the water and are left behind after obliterization , which does not seem to be a word, but now it is
