I read that IMP DMA are not suitable for STE.

Glad you noticed that @JezC I forgot it was for an STE. :blonde:

Good point... forgot that important point...but if there is another STF/M available, might be OK to swap the DMA from that & put an IMP in that one maybe?

I'll shut up now...

IMP DMA's do not work at all in a STE.

I suppose it is a solution.
Cosmic Puppet wrote: 21 Sep 2020 09:25 Hi @doc If you email the seller he'll probably know the answer. Really helpful guy. He talked me through an upgrade I was struggling with last year.
I asked him and his answer is NO this is (C025913-20) not suitable for an STE.

Sorry for pointing you in the wrong direction.

No problem, the topic was to be opened. Now we know.
And I think it would be a great idea if we had a topic summerizing which DMA goes with which ATARI ... But perphas this topic already exists ?

What we know by now is :

C025913-38 : ST, STF, STFM, STE
C025913-20 : (Not STE)
C100110-001 (IMP) : ST, STF, STFM, (Not STE)

Feel free to improve the list ...

Found this:

Untested though.

With Exxos you know they work.

Change cap in drive and clean the drive first before you buy new DMA if you haven't done that yet? Cheaper and smart to do anyway.
