For anyone interested in these just be aware that the Kipper2k board uses a straddle mount PCI type connector rather than the 150 position through hole connector on the Edu Arana version.

Wasn't aware there are two types of these connectors, thanks for pointing on this!

its about 15 mins work to redo the connector.

I posted these eagle schematics because i get frustrated when people repeat the same thing over and over. Its far better to build on the already open designs.

Having the card plug directly into the A1200 without an adapter would be best IMHO.
Having something else to buy/go wrong is not ideal.
Being as though the 150 pin connectors are fairly cheap in volume, it's the better option.

Dont think anyone is arguing.

But i dont think doing anything with these designs is worth it. You can get them dead cheap off the shelf already

Agree with this. The TF330 has been a proven rock solid card. A 1200 version based on it would be well received.

Keen to avoid this sounding like anyone is harassing for a 1200 version. We all know how busy you are with that cards that are already in development!

I do however think that getting hold of some of these connectors now is a good idea because:

A) The price is right.
B) They might disappear again.
C) If anything does come along in the future for the A1200 it will be pretty much be guaranteed to require this connector.
