Ive just remembered that one of the tutors there was an ST guy and I might have just dropped me mate in it (D`oh)

So after like several years, I thought I would conclude that the soldering iron tip was still fine :D

I accidentally chucked it away I think with my soldering iron last week, but was probably getting ready for another "treatment" anyway.
