We seem to have some forum members with motor racing backgrounds!

Good to know if we ever decide to form an 'Exxos Racing Division' motoGP or Formula 1 team.

As for @rubber_jonnie s remark, Im going to take the Schrödinger's cat superposition, by not asking him to explain his comment (of the two ways it can be taken) and assume he actually drove the 24Hr LeMans race.
I didn't drive it, just to it 😁

The wine is waiting and so is the view:

I'm now really a little fuzzy and tired after a day gardening just so we can sit in the garden and drink :)

Plan completed successfully :)

Glad you're back safely.

Maybe also look at any new arrivals that are now vying for your attention?

I'm now looking forward to 8 weeks time when I don't have to go to work!
Though I think the list of assorted jobs (not just hobbies) will keep me very busy for quite a while...

Yeah, hard to believe we've been away 2 weeks. It was funny, over the first weekend my wife said she could do with coming home now and I was feeling the same, but just a few days later we'd both done a complete 180 and wished we could have stayed longer. I'm getting better at navigating the local area too, and we did some very touristy things like this, which is Mont St Michel:

Feel free to send them now :)

100% with you there, and that is one reason why being over there is so great, I just relax and don't have any worries.

I totally hear you.

BTW, thanks for sharing a nice view of Mont St Michel by night.

:D

Cheers.

Well I have to get back to @mrbombermillzy's stuff, which I think is nearly done but just needs a final bit or two.

I do want to get the Cosmac Elf started and I do also want to get the ZX80 on the go too as that should be a relatively easy build and I have a keyboard membrane on order for it too. A case is a bit harder, but there are options :)

I need to do a quick job on my OSI too and replace the 4Mhz crystal with a 3.93216Mhz crystal. I opted for 4Mhz as that was what was available, but having chatted on the OSI forum having the correct value should improve video quality considerably. I have the part so it should be quick to do, I'm just worried it may affect the one shot timers for the FDD circuit on the 610 expansion board. I can fix it, it'll just be a pain is all.

I also have one of these on the way: PICL but I don't think it'll take long to build :)

Sounds good, lets hope the 8 weeks of time off doesn't come with a 'I have to get all the DIY done' penalty.

Are you still coming to CL4?
