I'll send you one when i the bulk order arrives. I've never seen a dead short like that from JLCPCB they test them before they get sent out.

you tried putting 12V on the 3.3v line with all components removed and see if it burns away?

You will have a brief terriblefire. Then it should clear the short.
My H6632B is good for this. When that runs out of amps i use a car battery.
@Subzero79 if you get photos of the defect for me i'll be able to get a refund from JLCPCB.

I have not yet found any open or short circuits on the board.
The last thing I can think is that I have somehow killed the CPLD. It was bought from RS, and soldered at a grounded workstation, so not sure what is going on. I have another new spare, so I could try swapping them over.
Apologies for holding up progress on the TF536, I am struggling to find much free time to get into the workshop.

No worries. I'm hovering over the trigger button on a 150 pc order so i'm keen to figure out issues before i do.
