I used to own a 7800. Annoyingly I sold it about 15 years ago. I may fix that with a 7800+ :D

Oh, and their PSU's are guaranteed to need initial work done on them
Yes, but my X68000 has been completely recapped (including the PSU) and the CMOS battery is new.

Despite my conscience saying 'No' and @rubber_jonnie's wise advise, I am still tempted to get a Beeb Master 128... If the temptation is too strong and my will too weak, I will discover by myself the joys of the Beeb.

Still weighing the pros and cons...

(and the cons are heavier).

Such as it's big and bulky and you only have a small space?

Yes, that's one of all the other cons but not a major one though.

Well, it's been a bit of a rubbish week. I've had either a cold/flu/RSV and being diabetic it's knocked me for 6, and I've been off work since Monday afternoon.

When you feel so ill you can't even be bothered to replace a socketed chip in something, it's not good.

Starting to feel better and fingers crossed by this time next week I'll be back to normal as I have to drive to France next weekend.
